Anticipation fills the air as we board our transpacific Air China flight bound for Beijing.,
Day 2: March 15, 2017
Our flight touches down in Beijing and we clear customs and retrieve our bags to meet our tour guide in the arrivals hall. Beijing is China’s capital city and its center for all things political. Check in to our luxury hotel accommodations and prepare for the day of excitement that lies ahead.

Day 4: March 17, 2017
Beijing (AB, L,DP)
Spend the day exploring Beijing’s imperial monuments, beginning with the massive Forbidden City. The former seat of Ming and Qing emperors, this imposing palace complex is home to some of the finest imperial architecture in the country. Browse the collection of royal treasures in the Palace Museum and drive to the Summer Palace, a peaceful imperial retreat surrounded by graceful bridges, pagodas and a glistening lake. Finally, we also visit the Temple of Heaven, a religious site constructed in the 15th century where emperors performed ceremonies to ensure a plentiful harvest. In the evening enjoy a Peking Duck dinner.
Day 5: March 18, 2017
Beijing (AB, L)
Experience the incredible heritage of China’s Great Wall as we trek across its ancient steps. Created piecemeal over a period of 2,000 years, the wall was built as a defense from the marauding tribes of the north. From atop the wall, enjoy the sweeping vistas of China’s rugged mountains and valleys, then descend the wall and visit the Sacred Way.This “divine way” is lined with ethereal willows and intricate stone statues. Return back to the city for photo stops at the famed 2008 Olympics venues, the Birds’ Nest and Water Cube.
Day 6: March 19, 2017
Beijing – Shanghai- Hanghzou (AB, D)
The morning is free until we transfer to the airport to board our flight to Shanghai .Board our coach to Hangzhou. As the capital of eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou is home to 2 million people and is a city of tremendous beauty. Visit the Winery Yard and the Lotus Pool, The Tea Plantation to taste the famous Chinese greentea, then end the day with a dinner of local specialty cuisine.

Day 7: March 20, 2017
Hangzhou – Suzhou – Wuxi (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, we enjoy a cruise of famed West Lake and do some fish watching at the Flower Pond. We continue our journey via motorcoach to nearby Suzhou. Also known as the “Venice of the East,” Suzhou is a breathtaking water village lined with canals, pagodas and over 100 classical gardens. Admire the ethereal beauty of Master of Nets Garden, visit a local silk factory to learn about the history and process of creating the delicate fabric. Drive by Tiger Hill and along the 2000 year old Grand Canal to view beautifully preserved homes and peaceful waterside scenery. Overnight in Wuxi.

Day 8: March 21, 2017
Wuxi – Shanghai (AB ,L)
After breakfast we visit Yuantouzhu Park and Lake Tai. After lunch, we leave Wuxi by motorcoach bound for Shanghai , a booming metropolis situated on an estuary of the Yangtze River. Once known as the “Pearl of the Orient”, Shanghai is China’s largest economic center and the world’s most populous city. Check in to hotel upon arrival. Free at leisure for the remainder of the day. Walk around to explore the shops and restaurants around the hotel or walk along the charming Huaihai road for shopping.

Day 9: March 22, 2017
Shanghai (AB, D)
After breakfast , we start our city tour with visits to the Bund and stroll along the waterfront boulevard, admiring the dazzling views of Shanghai’s skyline. Continue to visit City God Temple Bazaar and Nanjing Road.
Free at leisure in the afternoon.
Farewell dinner at night.
